ReloChild Safety Standards
Last Updated: October 24, 2026
Relo is a personal relationship-tracking app for users aged 13 and older. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page explains our standards, how the app's design reduces risk, how to report concerns, and how we respond.
1. Zero-Tolerance Statement
- We strictly prohibit any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including producing, possessing, distributing or soliciting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, or any sexualized conduct involving minors.
- No one may use Relo or its support channels to commit, facilitate or promote such conduct. Violating accounts will be permanently disabled.
2. How Relo's Design Reduces Risk
- Relo has no user-to-user chat, direct messaging, public feed, community, comments or stranger matching.
- Data stays on the user's own phone by default. Users cannot search for, browse or contact other users.
- The only exchange between users is QR business-card sharing: the owner generates a QR code, the other person scans it in person and receives only the fields the owner selected. The content is encrypted, relayed by our server for at most 5 minutes, and deleted once claimed.
- The service is for users aged 13 or older; users under 18 need a legal guardian's consent (see section 16 of the Privacy Policy). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
3. How to Report
- In the app: open Settings → Help & Support, create a support ticket and describe the situation. You may attach a screenshot.
- Email: write to support@getrelo.app with "Child safety" in the subject.
- Please do not forward or attach any suspected CSAM itself; describe it in text and use screenshots that do not contain the material. To report to authorities, contact them directly.
4. What We Do After a Report
- Child-safety reports are handled with priority.
- Once a violation is confirmed, we remove the content, disable the accounts involved, and retain the records necessary for investigation.
- Where applicable law requires, we report to the relevant authorities, for example iWIN and law enforcement in Taiwan, or NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) in the United States, and cooperate with law-enforcement investigations.
5. Child Safety Contact
Designated contact: HOU CHENG WEI (individual developer and operator)
Email: support@getrelo.app
Authorities and law enforcement who need to reach us can write to this address.
6. Updates to These Standards
We review this page as laws and the service change and update the "Last Updated" date above.
